Elliot founded and leads brightspot, a strategy consultancy on a mission to create more engaging and equitable student experiences by helping colleges and universities transform their student services, space, staffing, and systems. Elliot is an accomplished strategist, facilitator, and sense‐maker who has helped transform nearly 100 colleges and universities and impact 1,000,000 students.
Elliot is a frequent speaker on reimagining higher education, having presented at more than 60 conferences including EDUCAUSE, NACUBO, SXSWedu, SCUP, and Tradeline. He has written more than 40 articles in publications such as Planning for Higher Education, the Journal of Learning Spaces, Library Journal, EDUCAUSE Review, and in Touchpoint: The Journal of Service Design.
