Bill Nothofer, longtime director of marketing, communications, and outreach for TRADELINE, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 28, 2024, following a brief illness. Bill Joined TRADELINE in 2005 and worked closely with all TRADELINE team members on both the conferences and the publication side of the business. We knew Bill as a solid, insightful, strategic thinker and doer, and an enthusiastic contributor to the firm’s communications mission to the facilities planning and design community.
Bill was a graduate of the Rutgers School of Engineering who transitioned effectively to the marketing and communications side of building things. Bill would have been a great asset to any team or corporation. We are grateful that he chose TRADELINE, where he soon became a clear, strong, gentle voice of encouragement and persuasion to the company’s world-wide network of architects, engineers, planners, and project managers.
He will be genuinely missed.
