In high-volume automation initiatives, the logistics of cage handling appears to be a commonly overlooked or inadequately addressed programming issue. "Matrix" is a new automation product -- a rectilinear movement cagewash rack handling system being used at UCLA with good results. It takes up less space, has fewer moving parts, and doesn't require an Index Washer.
