Flexibility and Adaptability

Definitions and applications.

Published October 2007 Reconfigure your facility with ease.

A common feature of flexible learning environments is rolling tables and chairs that can be configured and re-configured in many different seating and work arrangements. Flexibility is the ability of a facility to accommodate more people or added equipment without significant demolition, construction, or fit-up. A different term, adaptability, refers to the ease with which space can be converted to different use.
