Expectations for Animal and BSL Facilities

Commissioning an animal facility is an essential part of project success. The cost of commissioning is estimated at ¾% to 1.5% of cost of construction. For a BSL facility, expect 4-5% of construction cost. The cost of commissioning cost is in addition to cost of start up.
