To streamline and increase the productivity of research program review processes and develop effective research linkages across your research enterprise, consider the UC Davis approach. Here, Lars Berglund profiles the workings of an integrated, collaborative research planning and approval process involving the physical co-location of Institutional Review Board people in the same facility with research stakeholders and the use of a centralized data service system to promote common concepts, combine research competencies, and align informatics with institutional research missions. He also sets out findings on cost-sharing and collaborative processes from NIH's CTSA Consortium.
