The UCSF Mission Bay campus is the center of UCSF’s basic biomedical research programs. You will see Genentech Hall, one of three research lab buildings, which houses structural and chemical biology, and molecular, cell and developmental biology programs. Under construction is the Helen Diller Family Cancer Research building, the first clinically-oriented research building at Mission Bay uniting basic and clinical scientists. You’ll see the William J. Rutter Center, the heart of the campus, containing a fitness and recreation center, conference center, pub, library, and student services offices. Plus, you’ll get a brief look at representative UCSF Mission Bay student housing and retail space.
