Forum Session: Korea's Samsung Cancer Center: Leading-edge integrated treatment, education, research

This year the 1,200,000-sf Samsung Cancer Center opened for business. In this forum you'll examine benchmarkable features of the latest innovations in Cancer Center building design; features for multi-disciplinary treatment methods; methods for the real-time delivery of patient diagnostic test results; space planning for integrated education, technology utilized at the most advanced levels; and more. Session leaders set out the integrated operating philosophy of the Samsung program and facility, and they examine key program components of treatment, equipment, research, teaching, and occupancy in terms of detailed decision-making on space requirements and special facility features.
