You now have more choices than ever for lab furniture systems, all with different cost, function, flexibility, and lab planning characteristics. Here, Michael Lauber and Janet Ross examine the full array of these new furniture offerings with respect to utility and investment value. They evaluate the stated flexibility and cost benefits of each, and they map out a decision-making methodology for making purchasing decisions. Six recently completed research lab projects are used to demonstrate furniture selection processes and criteria for different types of research and to illustrate system pros and cons and lessons learned.
This session is approved by the AIA for continuing education credit. Session Leaders:- Michael C. Lauber, AIA , President - Ellenzweig
