Forum P: How to turn commissioning into an enterprise-wide business tool

This session moves commissioning from that of simply coordinating a process that optimizes building performance to that of a business tool that delivers triple bottom line benefits to the institution as a whole. Here, session leaders re-cast the commissioning of new construction, re-commissioning of existing facilities, and continuous commissioning as an enterprise-wide business process involving total costs, benefits, life cycles, energy use, construction costs, and environmental impacts. They demonstrate processes, tools, and outcomes of this broader view of commissioning in terms of costs savings and environmental impacts in the design, construction, and continuing occupancy phases.

This session is approved by the AIA for continuing education credit.
This session also qualifies for HSW credit.
