Three new developments have big implications for project commissioning and successful start-up: 1) tighter containment zones, 2) quicker recovery times from power loss or component failure, and 3) less time being made available for functional testing. Here session leaders illustrate methods for integrating the resources and effort of designers, contractors, and owner/user representatives to implement successful commissioning strategies that address these new project characteristics. They detail early planning processes, key decisions, and lessons learned for containment integrity, pressure cascade, control sequences, testing strategies, pressure mapping, system failure and recovery, common breech points, and more.
This session qualifies for AIA CEU credit. This session also qualifies for HSW credit.
