Biocontainment, commissioning, and liquid waste. Many methods and solutions exist for creating a safe, reliable, and cost-effective effluent decontamination system – but only one right one for your particular facility. Mariusz Kolakowski examines design and commissioning issues and the decision-making rationales for an optimum combination of system sizing, safety and redundancy provisions, material selection, costs, and integrated operations. He examines existing and newly emerging technologies for effluent treatment at recently completed facilities, and he details challenges associated with integrating liquid decontamination systems into a new or existing research facility.
This session is approved by the AIA for continuing education credit.
