ALL DAY, PRE-CONFERENCE COURSE:
"Fundamentals of Modern Lab Planning, Designs and Project Management"
This course is intended primarily for those employed at colleges & universities, private sector and government & military research labs to provide a basic-level primer for up-front laboratory planning, laboratory programming, lab design, building design, MEPF system components, and project management. Participants will come away with a basic understanding of the vocabulary, concepts, processes, standards, numbers, types of scientific equipment, and furniture (as applicable) involved in laboratory design and lab project management. The course will be highly interactive with Q&A throughout. Details on course curriculum will follow in January.

Who should attend this conference?
This conference is the annual industry meeting for private sector, academic, government, and non-profit institution leaders who have responsibility for research facilities and research programs (Capital Projects, Facilities, Finance and Capital Planning, Engineering, Laboratory Operations, Research Programs, and Energy Management) to benchmark their plans and programs, and build on the latest successes and innovations. Companies involved in developing leased research facilities and research parks are welcome to register.
