Does integration in health education achieve anything more than improved utilization? The answer is "yes" for some areas, but "no" for others. Session leaders examine program integration initiatives at Emory, Virginia Commonwealth, the University of Georgia, and the University of Buffalo to draw conclusions on where to focus (and not to focus) integration efforts for MD, nursing, pharmacy, and public health programs. They examine especially the implementation of integration initiatives within the context of existing facility infrastructures revealing tangible factors in successful integration efforts and measures of success.
