Legacy maintenance management models waste money, make poor use of skilled workers, dilute management focus, and lead to large deferred maintenance problems. The new management models use lean processes and reliability centered maintenance (RCM) to overhaul, restructure, and simplify maintenance programs to achieve lower costs and improved asset performance. Session leaders illustrate key features of lean/RCM-based processes and how they are being applied to improve technician wrench-time efficiency, increase safety, raise up-time reliability, and reduce deferred maintenance. They set out details on maintenance costs, problem areas, best practices, reliability-centered maintenance theory, and lean performance standards. Session Leaders:- Randy Bender, Vice President, Facilities Management - CH2M Hill Facilities Services
- Brad Spackman , Director, Facilities Operations - CH2M Hill Facilities Services
