Mercy Medical Center Designs Integrated Cancer Care Facility




CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA -
Mercy Medical Center will break ground in spring of 2011 on a $24.6 million cancer care facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The project team includes OPN Architects, Rinderknecht Construction, and Ryan Companies. The three-story, 85,000-sf facility will feature multidisciplinary clinics for integrated diagnosis and treatment. Completion is expected in summer of 2012. LEED sustainable design certification will be sought for the facility.
