Perfusion Room

A room that a researcher uses to fix tissue using the perfusion technique (to force a fluid through a tissue or organ) with paraformaldehyde (a common fixative perfusate) or other potentially noxious chemicals. The room provides a hood with ducted exhaust for the researcher’s protection.
