Published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it defines Federal standards for the protection of human pathogenic agents. The concurrent rulings, 7 CFR Part 331, and 9 CFR Part 121, cover agents toxic to plants and livestock. Deadline for compliance to the new rules is November 12, 2003.
