Agency Construction Management

A construction management technique in which a third party acts in a fiduciary role as the owner's agent during the tenure of a project. The agency construction manager—a member of the project delivery team along with the design professional and the owner—does not become engaged in any other project delivery function, such as providing design services, contracting or performing construction work with his or her own employees.
