A refrigeration or air-conditioning system that removes heat
from one air source and transfers it to another air stream. It is usually applied to heat inside air by cooling
outside air. When operated in reverse, the system will perform like a typical air conditioning system that
cools inside air by rejecting heat to the outside air.
