Bandwidth

In terms of a single frequency, the range between the lowest and highest frequencies used to transmit a signal from one site to another. Bandwidth is a measure of an analog signal and is measured in Hertz (Hz). The broader the bandwidth, the better the quality of the transmission. See also kilobits per second (kbps).
