Cable Management
Published February 2000
Most planners know the
experience of having miles of cable running through ceilings that is of
no use because they don't know were it is going. One method of avoiding
this problem is to have all cable originating in a dedicated room.
Cables terminate on plastic boards with their origination and
destination rooms. Then each of the major bays in the building would
have small dedicated closets where the cables terminate.
