Changes in the Work

In construction contract terminology, these are changes ordered by the owner consisting of additions, deletions or other revisions within the general scope of the contract. The contract sum and the contract time are adjusted accordingly. All changes in the work, except those of a minor nature not involving an adjustment to the contract sum or the contract time, should be authorized by change order.
