A mix of flat and round flexible copper
conductors laminated in an insulating material laid under carpet to
distribute power and communication services from transition boxes in
columns or walls to pedestal outlets at individual workstations. Cables
are approximately .03 of an inch thick, placed side by side and encased
by insulating material. This system requires special connectors and the
use of carpet tile for better access.
