Gown Room

An anteroom contiguous to a biological research suite. It is used by research personnel for donning protective clothing prior to entering an area where pathological substances are present or to protect the product in the area from contaminants brought in by people. Gowning typically includes the use of headcovers, gowns, foot booties, and, in some cases, face protection.
