An energy-saving device that exchanges
heat between exhaust (tempered) air and supply (untempered) air. This
device transfers both sensible and latent energy. While this device is
effective in transferring energy between the two airstreams, caution
must be used in its application since this device requires the two air
streams to join in close proximity, risking potential reintrainment of
exhaust air.
