Hood Certification

Certification made by a qualified person signifying that required air flow tests have been performed and that a fume hood's performance is in accordance with the manufacturer's data. In the case of biosafety cabinets, certification signifies that performance is in accord with the requirements of the National Sanitation Foundation's (NSF) Standard.
