Manufacturing Trains

In pharmaceutical facilities, the technologies, equipment and unit operations that make up the process environment through which a product is manufactured, separated and purified. A facility may contain more than one manufacturing train operating simultaneously, but segregation of materials, product and personnel must be maintained through design and procedure to prevent the cross-contamination of product and materials.
