Maximum Upset Price

An amount agreed upon, by
contract, at the beginning of a project that guarantees a maximum price.
If the set price is exceeded, the contractor is responsible for
producing the extra amount. If the contractor stays below the guaranteed
price, the contractor and client split the profit.
