A single circuit intercom that can
be used to broadcast messages. A person speaks into the phone and
connects with all parties on the line, whether they are within the
building or even across the country. The person receiving the message
need not pick up the receiver if the phone is equipped with a speaker,
because the message is "shouted" into the room.
