Slit Sampler

An impinger-type sampling device used to determine the concentration of a known, viable spore that has been placed in an aerosol at a specific location. Fluid from the slit sampler is placed aseptically on an appropriate media and incubated to ascertain if test spores are present and to quantify the concentration.
