Slow-Scan Video
Published February 2000
Same as freeze-frame video, but in
teleconferencing, refers to a scan converter that accepts graphic
materials only one line at a time, requiring that the object in front of
the camera remain stationary for several seconds. The converter operates
differently than a freeze-frame scan converter that "grabs" the entire
graphic all at one time. See also Freeze-Frame Video.
