Snorkels

Published February 2000

Used for the spot exhaust of fumes from sensitive laboratory experiments or tests. Snorkels are flexible units that resemble an inverted funnel or elephant trunk; they can be positioned above a particular benchtop experiment. Snorkels are HVAC efficient, using exhaust air for up to a 150 fpm face velocity but at a low overall volume.
