Glazing materials that transmit light without permitting a view through the material, such as opaque and surface-treated glasses, diffusing and patterned plastics and glasses, corrugated plastics and glasses and diffusing glass block. The amount of light diffusion varies from slight diffusion spread over a small angle, to complete diffusion spread over a wide angle. Generally, transmittance decreases as diffusion increases.
