Sensitivity Analysis
The study of how the variation in the output of a model (numerical or otherwise) can be apportioned, qualitatively or quantitatively, to different sources of variation."[1] However, when the assumptions are uncertain, and/or there are alternative sets of assumptions to chose from, the inference will also be also uncertain. Investigating the uncertainty in the inference (regardless of its source) goes under the name of Uncertainty Analysis. (© Wikipedia.)
