Sr. MEP Designer
The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center is searching for a Sr. MEP Designer to join the Patient Care & Prevention Facilities/Design & Construction Department. This person will be responsible for planning and conducting research in areas of considerable scope and complexity for issues that are difficult to define, require unconventional or novel approaches, and require sophisticated research techniques. The person will also provide design services in the development of studies, reports, standards, energy conservation programs, and construction bid documents to include schematic design, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
Qualifications:
·High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field is preferred.
·Eight years of mechanical engineering design experience with an emphasis on the design of facility systems required. Three years of required experience healthcare or research design is highly preferred.
·Proficiency with AutoCAD release 14 and Autodesk AutoCAD 2002 is highly preferred.
