   The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, a leading academic health sciences center located on the Texas Gulf Coast, is searching for highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates to join our Facilities Operations & Management department.  Join an institution with a reputation for advancing health care through education, research and innovation.  UTMB has more than 2,000 students in the medical, nursing, allied health and graduate biomedical sciences.

   The Campus Facilities Planner will develop strategic planning concepts for the UTMB master plan, develop and coordinate space utilization of the campus, provide team leadership in the management of design and programming, and coordinate the UTMB capital facility improvement programs.

   Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, planning, or related field, and seven years related experience.  Architectural registration is preferred, and excellent communication and team-playing skills are a must.
