Project Manager Compass Group Location: Remond, WA Description:
As Project Manager, you will plan execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.Other responsibilities include:consulting with client to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation; preparing information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time; communicating and coordinating the interests of the client, Compass Group and the architect; defining the project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders; preparing cost analyses, feasibility studies and comparisons related to proposed uses of new facilities and determines the most beneficial structure; preparing project reports for management, client, or others; identifying and manage project dependencies and critical path; planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work; developing best practices and tools for project execution and management.
§Previous 7 yrs project management skills necessary including 5 yrs direct work experience in project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
§Experience in café & conference center construction a plus.
§Certification/working experience with RUPP, CMM, Agile, ESP or other mainstream software project methodologies.
§Proficient in MS software applications.
§Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
§Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
§Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
§Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
§Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
§Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
§Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills a must.
§Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
