Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development, L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer for its Global Operations Western Region. This position provides engineering leadership for campuses in San Diego and the Bay Area; supports regional site maintenance & operations, planning & projects, and EH&S departments; oversees all mechanical and plumbing systems; owns engineering design review for all projects at all sites; and coordinates/facilitates continuous improvement efforts.
Qualified candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred, and have ten years facility focused engineering experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or electronics industries. Experience should include design, commissioning, documentation, maintenance, change control, and performance benchmarking of facility systems, including HVAC and other mechanical, steam (clean and plant), process utility (CDA, N2, vacuum), cogeneration, solar, fire and life safety, energy, and building automation. This individual should be a self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational and technical skills, with the capability to work both independently and in a team environment at all levels of the organization.
