Washington Group International, Inc., a global leader in Industrial Facilities Management, is seeking qualified candidates for Regional/Account Manager - Canada in support of its’ Facility Management division.

The Regional/Account Manager is responsible for the overall direction of a major segment of the Washington Group International, Inc. Facilities Management Division. Responsible for all projects, both union and non-union, within a market area or geographic area.  This position will be responsible for Canadian operations and will be based in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada area. This is a senior level management position within the Washington Group I/P Facility Management business unit. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors the performance of Canadian Projects to ensure work is done in accordance with cost, schedule, contractual and client requirements
• Maintain exceptional client relationships
• Contributes to the achievement of market development goals
• Provide organization leadership
• Ensure adherence to company policies, standards and procedures and governmental regulations
• Resolve conflicts or controversy to facilitate meeting established company objectives
• Demonstrated ability and knowledge to effectively manage the type of projects that he/she is accountable for
• Knowledge and experience includes, but is not limited to: facility management processes, construction and engineering processes, materials, contract administration, subcontractor management, claim negotiations, project controls, labor relations, finance, manpower development and utilization
• Will be involved in extensive market development work.

Typical Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management or Business Management.  Certification in one or more industry-recognized achievements:

·        CFM – Certified Facility Manager

·        FMP – Facility Management Professional

·        RPA – Real Property Administrator

·        FMA – Facilities Management Administrator

·        CPE – Certified Plant Engineer
