RS&H, a national architectural and engineering firm, has an opportunity within our Science & Technology Service Group located in Jacksonville, FL. We are searching for a Business Development Manager to work directly with our Science & Technology Director at a national and international level. Project types include academic research nationwide, governmental research laboratory nationwide and corporate research facilities globally. This individual will be performing duties independently and under very general direction, exercising a high degree of professional expertise. Responsibilities include: · Performing market research. · Identifying and soliciting business from past and/or present clients. · Identifying opportunities with new clientele. · Planning and conducting marketing programs designed to extend business. · Working with Director of Science & Technology Service Group to update annual business and marketing plan. · Apprising and coordinating with corporate marketing regarding status of potential clients through established reporting procedures. · Coordinating, preparing and participating in formal presentations to clients as the result of short listing. · Attending and representing the firm at trade conferences and industry organizations. · Developing and updating marketing materials for the Science & Technology Service Group. Requirements: *Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field *Minimum of five years experience *This position will require travel primarily at the national level. *Experience in the Science and Technology market is preferred.
