Mechanical Engineer (2) Brown University Location: Providence, RI Description:
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the oversight and management of all activities associated with the ongoing renovation and expansion of associated central utility systems which include steam distribution, night temperature hot water distribution, chilled water, city water, sewer/storm drain systems, fire safety systems and energy management systems for a variety of multi-discipline facilities projects. Requirements include a BS degree in mechanical engineering or BS in another engineering discipline, demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems, distic cooling and heating systems, energy high voltage electrical systems and building electrical distribution and service systems. Also you must possess the necessary credentials to obtain a professional registration. Minimum of five years professional work experience demonstrating increasing responsibility in design, building renovation or construction management.
