The Business Analyst provides business management consulting and software implementation design services in the domains of corporate real estate and facilities infrastructure management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analysis of Business Requirements with respect to systems, process workflows and staffing.
Analysis of existing information systems, datasets and client staffing to forecast complexity of integration of our solutions into the client’s existing environment.
Documentation development to communicate ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ conditions, processes, Return On Investment (ROI) studies, and Key Performance Indicators.
Guidance and management of the Client and the BRG Team through decision-making processes regarding cost/benefit, timelines, and operational and change management issues.
Research and education regarding industry best practices as well as the capabilities of technology and the benefits of associated BRG services.
Developing solutions focused on BRG’s core service lines of process, technology and outsourcing.
Defining and implementing best practice operating processes and tools to more effectively manage the business operations.
Defining KPIs and measurement tools to more effectively manage the business operations.
Providing mentorship to ensure staff adherence to the BRG project process and company operating procedures.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
At least 3 years of Business Analysis/Business Consulting experience in the Corporate Real Estate/Facilities Management domains.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to be a quick learner, think from a strategic perspective, strong attention to detail, high creativity and good problem solving skills.
Good judgment during stressful situations, especially when interacting with clients, staff and other employees.
Extensive experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be able to work independently and in a small team environment.
Strong technical aptitude.
Conceptual knowledge of CAFM/CIFM/IWMS software; understanding of technical concepts related to RDBMS and web-based software applications.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Six Sigma or BPI certified.
Experience using analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.
Experience planning/designing CAFM/CIFM/IWMS systems implementations.
Bachelor's degree in industry-related discipline, business-related degree or comparable industry experience.
Working knowledge of ARCHIBUS/FM, Tririga or other CAFM/CIFM/IWMS software.
Minimum of eight years of experience in Corporate Real Estate/Facilities Management.
