Space Manager Lead (Jax & Richmond)
NELSON is seeking special individuals who are energetic, creative and professional to join our team as Space Manager Leads working with a world class Financial Services company. This individual will be the primary liaison of their assigned portfolio, with respect to our external client, internal team and other Stakeholders. The role requires working directly with our client, supporting their internal customers, business departments and divisions which are potentially located in multiple locations.
The Space Manager Lead will be responsible for their assigned portfolio, (1-3) Space Managers and (1) Drawing Manager regionally dispersed within a designated geographical area. This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of the Space Managers and Drawing Manager based on requirements received from the client. They will also assist with any Special projects, coordinating variable staff as necessary.
The Space Manager Lead should have experience in Facility planning, with an understanding of Space Management and how companies allocate to the terms of their lease agreements.
Qualified candidates should have extensive customer service experience and demonstrated solid management skills in working with clients. They should possess superior communication skills (written and verbal) as well as being highly organized. They should be creative and effective with their problem solving skills.
The Space Manager Lead is a representative of NELSON, located within a particular client site. The sites are located in Jacksonville, FL. and Richmond, VA. Each Space Manager Lead will be required to travel to the multiple client buildings within the assigned Region.
REQUIREMENTS: • Skilled in AutoCAD and CAFM software platforms.
• Thorough understanding of BOMA Standards • Strong technical data background in Reporting software • 7 years Architectural / Interiors industry specific experience
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage small team in various locations within Region
• Scheduled Field Validations of sites within Region • Maintain CAD/CAFM drawings (Architectural, Furniture) and Data Integrity • Allocations Review and Maintenance • Provide various Ad Hoc Reports for client
• Assist with Annual Planning
• Assist with Special Projects and Annual Planning as necessary
KEY SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE:
• AutoCAD Full and LT experience (2002 + version)
• CAFM application experience (CenterStone’s eCenterOne Application a plus) • Microsoft Project and Office Suite • Reporting Application experience a plus (Example: Crystal Reports, Business Objects, etc.) • Database Application experience a plus (Example: Access, SQL, etc.)

These individuals need to have experience in Facility planning, with an understanding of Space Management and how companies allocate their spaces according to the terms of the lease agreements.
The role requires working directly with our client, supporting their internal customers, business departments and divisions which are potentially located in multiple locations. Space Managers will also receive corporate directives from the Space Manager Lead as well as getting assistance from the Drawing Manager, as necessary, to coordinate any changes to the portfolio based on requirements from the client.

They should possess superior communication skills (written and verbal) as well as being highly organized. They should be creative and effective with their problem solving skills.
