WPR Program Manager II Cisco Systems Location: San Jose, CA Description:
As a Program Manager for the Americas, the successful candidate shall manage Service Providers, selected by our Strategic Vendor Management Group (SVM), and consultants to lead, establish, and execute workplace strategies/initiatives, manage complex projects, programs, and functions for the betterment of Cisco's work environment for numerous locations and multiple sites. He/she shall apply expert knowledge and understanding of all facilities and workplace resource activities, systems and the interdependencies of such systems. A successful candidate will also have strong financial acumen.
He/she shall have full accountability for capital expenditure and operational expense relating to approved SVM functional budgets (CAP-IT and Operational) and e-pafs. He/she shall establish effective operational goals, prepare accurate financial reports/analysis, and execute programs according to agreed plans. He/she is expected to manage work across functions, departments or business operations. Besides establishing dependable performance measurement metrics that will determine success of delivery/execution of project/program client requirements, the successful candidate shall be expected to lead, collaborate, communicate, and facilitate the implementation of improvement programs for systems, processes and regional/theater programs that will lower cost, increase productivity, showcase Cisco¿s technology, and efficient delivery of results.
He/she is expected to understand and practice planning skills to effectively drive Geo and site level space/resource planning and understand portfolio management. He/she is expected to build strong relationships and partnerships with internal business clients and support their business initiatives within permissible fiduciary boundaries. The role assumes leadership in the delivery of solutions to the client organization within the Americas.
He/she shall be required to apply knowledge of Cisco's business strategies, technologies, and represent Cisco by communicating business capabilities and strategies to external constituents.
The job will be primarily based in a specified Geo/territory but traveling to regional offices will be required from time to time to carry out operational review, attend group meetings, and participate in regional/theater events.

1. Program or Project Management 2. Facilities or Construction Management, (lease negotiations) 3. Excellent communication and presentation skills 4. Leadership skills 5. Broad knowledge and experience in the Corporate Real Estate area. 6. Prior Scope of responsibility
Typically requires BA/BS degree or equivalent with 8-10 years related experience or a MS/MA and 8 years related experience in project management, construction management, team development and program delivery in a high growth environment.
