The Director, Facilities Space Planning (Research Labs) will provide management and direction for the planning and programming for effective use of current and future research space.Additionally, the Director evaluates requests for renovation or additions to laboratory and clinical spaces and will make recommendations as well as defining space, equipment and utilities needed to support new research/clinical programs.
The ideal candidate will have ten years experience in institutional facilities planning with management experience including five years experience in research laboratories and vivariums planning. Experience as a scientific researcher is highly preferred or experience with planning and programming of open and closed laboratories, shared equipment spaces and biological sample storage. A Bachelors degree in a Science field, Architecture, or Facilities Planning and Design is required.Contact:
