Description:

Develop or lead efforts for Facility Development Plans for the Medical Center sites. Research previous Facility Plan/Master Plan studies and recommend need to update them as necessary. Lead selection of consultant(s) for the development of new master plans or updates of existing master plants.
- For specific areas of the Medical Center space, review service volume projections and current utilization of space to identify opportunities for improvement in space usage or validate need for additional space.
- Recommend relocation of function(s) to create desired opportunities of growth
- Assist in the development of optimal relocation and phasing strategies for efficient and expeditious execution of remodels.
- Assist in the development of space plans for vacated space resulting from relocations
- Research benchmarks related to space in comparable academic medical centers and publish periodic reports
- Develop Space Standards for Medical Center space
- Develop a regularly updated master project schedule that provides a high-level snapshot of the projects at the Medical Center sites
- Revise/update Facility Development Plans periodically or episodically as required.
- Coordinate with Campus Planning
