The ideal candidate will have proven experience in office and/or laboratory design. The Planner will directly service Genentech senior managers, lead cross-functional teams and manage design consultants as projects require.  Minimum 8 years of experience in the architectural/engineering industry with expertise in feasibility studies and conceptual design. Requires general knowledge of capital project development methods and procedures. Must have a high level of computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and familiarity with AutoCad software. Ideal candidate has served in a corporate environment in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

The ideal candidate will have overall experience with biotech or similar corporate facilities, master planning, leading teams of consultants and managing projects as required. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.  Minimum 12-15 years experience in the Planning/Architecture industry.
