The position for Construction Site Representative would work with the State University Construction Fund (SUCF), Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), State University at Binghamton coordinators and Construction Site Representatives, Architects, Engineers and Contractors for the construction of new buildings, major renovation projects, utility upgrades projects and other capital and campus let projects. This individual would serve as the University's (owner's) day-to-day onsite representative and liaison between field personnel and the Design Team. Although technical expertise in any particular construction trade is not a necessity, adequate understanding of all areas of construction is required. The Construction Site Representative will work closely with designers and campus coordinators, however shall not attempt to fill the role of the design team, consultants, general contractor, construction superintendent, safety officer, or any other member of a project team.
