Senior Facility Manager Washington Group International Location: Peoria, IL Description:
Description and Job Scope: Senior Program Manager is responsible for the physical operation and maintenance of client office facilities, manufacturing facilities and utilities. Directs, schedules, coordinates and supervises programs for facility maintenance including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, repair, space allocation, renovation or remodeling and some process equipment maintenance. Maintains appropriate records and provides administrative reports to senior management. Inspects facilities to ensure that maintenance and preventive maintenance of interior, exterior and electrical/mechanical/ HVAC systems are performed in accordance with established procedures. Ensures that an adequate supply of supplies and spare parts are available for assigned areas of responsibility. Responsible for both direct-hire (140+FTE)and subcontracted facility maintenance services including grounds and janitorial. Responsible for the enforcement of safety policies and procedures for both direct-hire and subcontracted services.
Responsibilities: Must have expertise with preparation and analysis of multi million dollar budget, management and scheduling using computerized maintenance management tools of site systems interruptions and shutdowns. Must maintain high quality service using cost efficient practices, comply with established safety environmental practices, administer company policies and procedures and manage a diverse workforce. This person must exercise independent judgment in problem resolution and be a team player with excellent verbal and written communications. Must have extensive positive experience in client relations, strong interpersonal skills, and business acumen, as well as people judgment. Knowledge or qualifications related to working in a 6-Sigma environment a plus.
Qualifications:Requires bachelors degree or demonstrated equivalent and 10 plus years of professional experience, including 7 plus years of supervisory experience in like role.
